A company is in a situation of financial vulnerability when, in the face of negative external factors changes, it does not have a balanced financial structure, which puts it at risk of not being able to meet its payment obligations. In this document we carry out an analysis of the situation, evolution and factors of the financial vulnerability of companies in the Basque Country that takes as reference the data of 2018, with the aim of anticipating the financial capacity of companies to respond to the challenges that COVID is creating – 19. The work also defines four types of financial statement situations and analyses them based on size, sector and weight in the economy. (Report in Spanish. Resource: Orkestra)
