Madrid Aerospace Cluster participates in the establishment of the new Galileo Information Centre in Chile, to promote European satellite navigation activities, monitor local and regional satellite navigation initiatives, and provide support to users in Latin America, such as in developing new applications through cooperation between Latin American and European industry.

The Centre in Chile will also target several neighbouring Spanish-speaking countries, in particular Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador and Colombia. The physical location of the Centres should ensure optimal contact with the target audience (the satellite navigation downstream industry, application developers and users).
