Scaling-up methodology focuses on the increase of the number of people that can benefit from the innovations developed in the project.

The idea of the scaling up methodology is to set of a guideline and to offer practical advice on how to carry out each of the steps and tasks needed for effective scaling up.

This guidelines seeks to provide concrete advice derived from theory and practice. It is intended to inform decisions regarding:

- Selecting projects with the potential to go to scale

- Designing projects to maximize their scalability

- Managing the scaling up process
